So, in an attempt to get back on topic, whats the school year like for you?
When does the school year start? when does it end? What are the breaks that you get?

The school year starts at the end of January, usually the 30th or 29th. And we get 8-11 week terms... i think first term was 11 weeks, this term is 9 weeks and i'm not sure about the rest haha. We have 2 week holidays at the end of term 1 and 3 and i think its 3 weeks at the end of term 2.. i'm not sure though haha. you'd think i know this

And then when term 4 ends which is 2 weeks before christmas, we have around 2 months of holidays. something like that. Razz

Well, our school year starts at early February and ends at late December >_<

We have 2 weeks holiday after every end of term.

At school, we have two breaks; the lunch lasts for an hour Smile

Wow! Your school year is so different from mine!
My school starts in early September. We get one winter break for two weeks near Christmas, and then one one-two week break (it varies) in spring, near easter. Our school year ends in the middle of June, and we have a three month break until September!

Well, in Philippines, school year starts at June and ends in March...If I remember correctly. :S
And we used to have a break from late December to early January, for New Year's.

And at school, there's three breaks Smile

Yeah i think ours is basically the same as NZ's holidays.. except that i think its a week different or something. But wait- what? You have an hour of lunch! We only have 40min! Which i guess is only 20min difference but you know
