No.. semesters are different. There are 3 semesters in a year and 4 terms. we have semesters too but we dont really use the word that much.

I don't know.. i always thought at school when they said Semester 3, i don't ever remember anyone saying semester 4, so i always assumed there were only 3 semesters in a year. I'm probably wrong though.

Hahaha i don't notice things either! I had the same history teacher for 2 years and at the end of the second one my friend goes "her lisp annoys me so much!"

i laughed .. and now that someone's told me she has a lisp, i've noticed it more

Do you ever get that? When people say "don't look at my pimple, it's huge and ugly"... you notice it more? I wouldn't have noticed it if the person hadn't have told me that it was there

Trimesters = three sections
Semesters = four sections

The only reason my school has trimesters instead of Semesters is probably because of our summer vacation. The length of our summer vacation is just about the length of one semester, so we really only have three out of four semesters in the year.

Now that I think about it...
I think other schools in the area might have semesters instead of trimesters. I go to a private school... so it works differently then the rest of the school system...

Wow, I used to go to a private school. It was for Catholics, even though I wasn't.

But now I go to a public all-girls school Very Happy

I know a couple of people who go to Catholic schools... I think my neighbor goes to one!

I only have one all-girls school near my house. But when you get into high school, they start combining classes with the all-boys school. I guess its still like they are separate schools, but I think its a little silly for them to have classes together if they aren't the same school...
