My mum loves buying ribon and sewing them on the hem of her dresses. Sometimes it looks really good, sometimes kinda bad.. but she somehow makes it work most of the time Razz

Oh yeah! My mum bought a japanese or a chinese dress thing from an opp-shop, it was silk and patterny and pretty, but she cut the sleeves off and shortened it a bit and it looks really good! Not that it didn't before but it looks really good now too Razz

Cha-chi, you can always wear a thimble!

I so want a thimble.. i only have the one from monopoly .. but come to think of it i'm sure it'll work just fine haha

I've never used a thimble before... I just dont seem to get hurt by needles.
My mom taught me how to sew when I was in second grade... so I guess I'm just not afraid of sewing needles.
But... medical needles are much worse! Whenever I get a shot I get really frightened, and I sometimes scream!

Ugh all the girls in our year have to get a set of 3 needles for hpv cancer and the second needle is soo thick and ouchy! :S

Ouch.

Um...We had to learn how to embroider in fourth grade, and I didn't know about it, so I didn't have the tools.

I had to use a pen to poke the threads through TT__TT It was horrible.

It must be fun

I remember getting one of those circular things and sewing a picture on it but i don't think i ever finished it.. I'm not that skilled with the needle and thread.

in the third grade we had to learn how to cross stitch... good times... good times...
all the girls my age also have to get the HPV shot!
I just finished with my set of three... it wasn't nice.
